I learned the joy of film and video creation in Media, and made some terrific freinds! (and no, Morgan is not *actually* licking my ear)
My fastest rocket ever, this Vaughn-Bros Exxtreme29 rocket, launched with a special "G125" engine shipped from Connecticut that generates 35 pounds of thrust (for a 6-ounce rocket), and pushed it past the sound barrier. That "sonic crack" following the rocket was damn cool. :-) This particular picture is of the "Mach-2," since my first supersonic rocket, the "Mach-1," met its doom on the desert floor after a failed parachute deployment.
Freshman year I worked as an EMT for "Event Medical Services." While I didn't care for the company itself, I thought it was cool to wear the uniform, hang with an ambulance at work, and help people who needed me. I've maintained the certification/training despite not working as one right now. (you can also see I was a little chubby at that job... not moving around and all. I'm in much better shape now) :P
