Dual stoneware (granitic on the right and metamorphic, I think, on the left) comprising the coblestone streets that pervade Rothenberg - and many of the towns of Europe that we saw for that matter. These rocks contrasted sharply with the sandstone/claystone rock used to construct the exterior wall of Rothenberg.
